The Application of Paiwan Tribe Totems on Shoes Design

Abstract

This study focused on Paiwan gorgeous costumes and representatives of totem items used in shoes design. Using literature analyze, experience activities and Interview to study Paiwan characteristics and costumes. Paiwan representatives Totem hundred snakes, sun, face elements used in shoes design to series of works. Changing the totem can only be done using the traditional frame in clothing or headwear. In color with black, white, red with gold, Showing a gorgeous fashion sense. The use of totem beads, pig teeth and glass beads show three-dimensional, Shoes design more innovative.
