Abstract
In this study, indigo dye was the main extraction target. With the same material, the difference in output amount and property of blue mud between traditional and various improved extraction procedures were discussed. The results show that adding the fermented liquid directly to the fresh leaves can produce the most amount of blue mud. With different cultivation methods, the yield has increased significantly. Different days and the amount of culture medium can also cause changes in its yield. B-3 with a fixed number of days has a higher yield due to the largest amount of culture medium. Again, B-4 samples that have been cultured for seven days also have the highest yield because of the longer culture time. UV spectrum indicates that the modified B-1 has the highest absorbance value.
